About the Studio

Carlos works with the red clays of Oaxaca, burnishing each planter by hand before a low firing.

Working from Oaxaca for 15 years, Carlos focuses on textured & rustic style. Every piece is signed and photographed before it leaves the studio.

Clay gives me a way to slow down and create something that lasts.

  • You can see the throwing lines under the glaze – it feels made by a person, not a machine.
