About the Studio
Dewi models each design in clay before carving it in recycled teak, in Jepara, Indonesia’s furniture capital.
Working from Jepara for 16 years, Dewi focuses on carved teak & sculpted decor. Every piece is signed and photographed before it leaves the studio.
Every piece begins in clay. When the shape is right, I carve it in teak.
