A deep serving bowl in a tenmoku glaze that breaks from iron brown at the rim to a mottled blue-green well.
Thrown by hand and fired at 1200°C, every piece carries small marks of its maker: a fingerprint in the foot, a glaze that pooled a little thicker on one side.
Food safe and dishwasher safe on a gentle cycle. Because each piece is made by hand, size and colour vary slightly – that is part of its charm.

My second order from this artisan and the quality is just as consistent.

A small kiln mark on the base, which the listing mentioned. It doesn’t bother me at all.

Simple, honest ceramics that make everyday moments feel special.

Finer details than I expected: smooth rims, an even glaze and a neatly trimmed foot.
